On a peninsula into Barren River Lake near Glasgow, KY, this 220-acre camp has large wooded areas filled with wildlife, wildflowers, and great views of the lake. Barren Ridge is the council’s most rustic camp.
Located about 15 miles south of Owensboro, KY, this 180-acre camp includes an 8-acre lake, three year-round buildings, platform tents, screened cabins, and primitive camping areas. The most centrally located camp in our council, it is an excellent camp for all age groups.
Located on Cedar Creek near Shepherdsville, KY, this 112-acre camp offers a varied camping experience for troops and larger groups. For year-round camping, buildings, platform tent sites, program shelters, picnic shelters and primitive camping are available.
Located on the Barren River near Bowling Green, KY, this 12-acre camp has plenty of open space for sports, games, nature study, and learning outdoor skills.There is an adventure playground suitable for younger girls.
The Louisville Program and Learning Center is the current headquarters of the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. There is a range of rooms can be reserved for troop meetings and programs, as well as a bouldering wall and an indoor climbing.
Located on the Ohio River in Laconia, Indiana, Camp Stem is used for day camps in June. This is the largest of the camps operated by Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana as measured in acreage. It’s over 1,400 acres and has many miles of hiking trails.
